Day 114: A Single Leaf Floats Down the River

Curious and green

Sliding over waves

The sun shining down

Without a care it bathes

Soaking in the water

Dodging fallen logs

Dragonflies like to land

Then eaten by the frogs

Storm battered and tore

Fell down a waterfall

Popped up to the surface

Here for the long haul

After all those miles

The leaf finds a home

On a beach to rest

And write a little poem
