Day 122: Facing Forward

As I walk forward I can turn around

And see all the steps I took

The stones laid

Even though some are uneven

And some are shattered

They were a part of the path

With a bag full stones yet to be laid

I hold one up

And wonder where I should put it

Any path I create will lead forward

Towards some destination

Where I will turn around again

And think
