Day 136: Moving On

I wonder what a boulder feels like

Breaking free from the top of the mountain

Tumbling down

Smashing into smaller pieces

Tearing through trees and brush

Until reaching the river bed

Cometting into the sand

Still jagged

For the next million years it waits

Sinking into the sand

The constant flow of water eroding

A single cell a moment

Slicing off a piece of history

And slowly letting it disintegrate

Until all that is left is a polished stone

That finally becomes so light

It lets the river takes it too
