Day 167: Waiting for Something to Fall Out of Nothing

The Buddhists say

Everything comes from nothing

Thinking, I think this may be true

An ironic conundrum

We scientifically can’t prove otherwise

As the days drift and blend

Mind stagnant, latching

Onto anything that may pass the time

I watch the faucet drip

Though, the seal is absent

Turning the handle provides no results

It leaves a shallow puddle that dries fast

Evaporating into air

Condensing and filling the sky with thoughts

I wait for the rain to drench my head
