Lilacs bloom in spring

We are stuck in quarantine

Growing behind doors

Molly Polly's haikus

Bring smiles to the faces

Capturing moments

Author’s Note #1: Today is National Haiku Poetry Day

Author’s Note #2: The renowned author, Molly Polly, has written over a thousand haiku poems (probably). She is known for constructing her art with a cocktail or two, frequenting the restaurants of Mackinac Island. She has been published in over four dozen literary magazines and has been called the Emily Dickinson of haikus. Her passion is poetry and her personality is infectious. If you have a chance to meet this wonderful person, buy her a drink (or four) and ask her to write you a poem. Your day will become better.

Author's Note #3: Thank you, Molly, for all the laughs and poems.
