Day 186: Thank You, Earth.

Just want to give a friendly shout out to the one and only, Earth.

You’re my dog,

But your really a rock, covered in dirt, and mostly water,

Sprouting out plants and animals —

All in a perfectly harmonious atmosphere

I appreciate all you do by providing us with food and all

And water. Water’s pretty cool.

Oh, and being the perfect distant away for the sun.

How’d you plan that?

I want to give you a high five, but I’ll just slap the grass instead.

You’re doing a great job, Earth.

I know that you spew out a virus or two here and there,

But I also know that you’re probably sick of us too.

We’re really dirty and wasteful, but some of us are trying to change that.

Promise.

Hopefully one day we can all live in true harmony with you.

Like the old days, before machines.
