Here is the story that I submitted to the NYC Midnight 100-Word Micro Fiction Challenge!
Hope you like it. Mr. T-Roy Cozy helped a lot with the idea!
The Gold Tooth
The man with the Gold Tooth sprinted through the jungle. Chopped leaves and broken branches left a trail to the cave. I flicked my lighter. Like a scared rat, he hunkered himself into a corner.
“Give it to me.”
“Please,” he begged.
“You know I don’t ask twice.” I tossed him a pair of pliers.
The man, with tears streaming down his face, popped that tooth out!
“Aah!” the classroom screams.
“And that’s the story of how I got this.” I smile. “What did we learn today?”
The principal’s eyes are wide as the children state, “You don’t ask twice.”
Author's Note #1: The parameters for this story are:
1) Action/Adventure Genre
2) Teaching a class
3) Has to include the word "gold" somehow
