I wonder about the limits of numerical mathematics. Perhaps one day, we will accept there is not a physical form of measurement for the entirety of the universe.

The answer cannot be measured.

With all of our numbers that we can fit nicely into a circle, we may fail to see that we are like cavemen, drawing pictures on the wall of what we see.

But what is out of sight?

Perhaps, something obvious in our lives — a phenomenon seemingly without universal significance. Yet, the answer may literally be under our feet.

We are still in Plato's cave, fumbling with all the rocks.

Author's Note #42: The answer to life, the universe, and everything.
