Have we’ve been here before

Have I typed these words and thought these thoughts

Stared at a white canvas and wondered what will come out

Have you read this before

Scrolled and clicked, making this small decision that could change the world like a butterfly wing

Have I sat in this same chair

And looked at the same wall

Have we’ve been here before

Or

Have I forgotten

Subconsciously making the decisions my former self missed

But I can't help but feel

That the words that I type for you
