Day 329: If Tomorrow was Yesterday

Wouldn’t that be something?

If tomorrow was yesterday

There would be no surprises

Your hangovers would come first

And there would truly be no regrets

If tomorrow was yesterday

We would forget all our life lessons

Our childhood dreams would blossom again

And maturity would be something of the past

If tomorrow was yesterday

I’d get to see you again

All our family and friends that passed

Would once again walk on our doorstep

And we'd live the rest of our lives knowing they’ll be around

If tomorrow was yesterday

I’d surely miss the growing

But I’d take comfort in remembering

Where yesterday took me
