It’s like Christmas when you’re 8, and the corner of the Playstation 2 exposes itself through the wrapping paper.
It’s soaring overhead of snow-capped mountain chains with Denali in the distant, piercing up through the clouds
It’s finally landing in a land that sticks to schedules
It’s going ape shit
It’s laughing hysterically in your rented car because it is the first time you rented a car
It’s finding out the charge port in the car is connected to the car stereo and Juicy by Notorious B.I.G. is queued up
"It's all good, baby baby."
It’s driving down the highway and staring at snow-covered mountains
It’s howling for no damn reason other than this is the most excited you’ve felt in a long time
It’s finding the perfect bar with a friendly bartender
It’s finding out the perfect bar has tater tots
It’s looking on the shelf of whiskeys and seeing a half shot of Wild Turkey Rare Breed left in the bottle
It’s sipping that sip and knowing 101 is still better
It’s getting a grilled avocado sandwich with tomatoes, melted cheese, sprouts, and cucumbers
It’s posting pictures of the beautiful scenery that is Alaska for friends and family to enjoy
It’s ordering a ticket to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker IMAX 3D for Saturday night
It’s writing a new post
It’s relaxing
Author's Note #1: : )
Author's Note #2: If any person would have seen me in the car this afternoon, they probably would have thought I just escaped from a mental asylum.
Author's Note #3: One step closer to Michigan.
