These next few posts may be brief. They may be nonsense. The holidays are here, I am back in Michigan, and we got some things to do.
For the sake of writing something that has some substance, I shall briefly reflect on the past 65 days of writing and what they have done for me.
1. They have connected me to an audience. I appreciate everyone that takes a few minutes out of their day to read my thoughts. Thank you.
2. The blog has strengthened my writing habits and skills (I think).
3. I write a lot more lists now, which is fun.
4. Writing these gives me a definite sense of purpose for the day. It provides a short-term personal goal that I can keep accomplishing. It feels good.
5. Each day is a new opportunity to set the bar higher for myself.
6. I can be weird and funny and some people get the humor.
7. Some of my writing makes people laugh, cry, and/or smile. I’m happy to help.
That’s a big enough list for now. This post is actually a day late because I was spending time with family yesterday and I stayed up all night because I couldn’t fall asleep on the plane from Anchorage. But you’re in luck because today there will be two posts! So, if you need an excuse to ignore the rantings of your distant family members, come on down to Zach’s 365 Writing Project. There will be cake.
Author's Note #1: Can someone help me make a cake?
