- Ice bucket challenge.

- Same-sex marriage became legal in the U.S. and many other countries.

- Leonardo DiCaprio won an Oscar. Finally!

- Kneeling at football games.

- Harambe the gorilla.

- 2012 end of the world scare. Thanks a lot, Mayans!

- Pokémon Go. That was a fun week.

- Woman’s March.

- Freaking fidget spinners.

- Earthquakes, hurricanes, and volcanoes, oh my!

- Uber.

- Cubs won the World Series!

- LeBron left Cleveland. Then came back. Won a championship. Then left.

- Instagram.

- Star Wars saga concludes.

- Actual civil wars. Like, a whole bunch.

- Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces.

- We are still at war with terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

- We were lied to about the war in Afghanistan.

- A new Pope.

It’s been a wild ride. Here’s to another ten more crazy years. I wonder where I will be. Probably rereading this post, lost in nostalgia. Hopefully, I have a kid or two with a wonderful wife to keep me in line. And hopefully, I will still be writing.
